David Pogue, Yahoo’s New Tech Columnist, Hits the Keynote Stage at Tech Marketing 360

We’re excited to announce that David Pogue, the new face of Yahoo Tech,  will be headlining the keynote agenda at Tech David PogueMarketing 360, February 18-20 in Dana Point, California.

As head of Yahoo’s new tech strategy, Pogue will bring expert objective context to the discussion around traditional versus digital marketing techniques, and the ever-changing perceptions of the B2C and B2B technology industries as a whole. As he observed in a recent article for Scientific American: “Technology used to be admired in America…We were proud of our technological prowess and of the companies that were at the forefront,” he wrote. “Today it’s not so simple. Our tech companies have a trust problem.”

The former New York Times personal tech columnist of 13 years, monthly Scientific American columnist and host of science shows on PBS made headlines with his significant career shift. At CES last week, Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer announced Pogue’s appointment to Yahoo Tech Columnist, a position in which he’ll lead the new tech venture he describes as “the tech site for people who don’t use words like form factor and functionality in everyday conversation.”
